Announcements
Official notices from the LSN Foundation
Announcements provide the dated public notice stream within the Foundation's publication record, covering significant document publication, governance developments, ecosystem milestones, and institutional updates.
Announcements communicate developments and provide public context. They are separate from the canonical Lattice Core corpus and do not themselves establish or modify canonical authority.
Foundation Announcements
Formal Public Communication
This section is reserved for formal public communications from the LSN Foundation concerning material developments within its governance, stewardship, and institutional scope.
Announcements provide an identifiable public record of what the Foundation communicated and when, without becoming a substitute for the canonical or institutional source to which the announcement refers.
Announcement Is Not Authority
An announcement may communicate that a canonical document has been published, amended, superseded, or otherwise changed in status.
The announcement does not itself create that canonical state. The applicable document record, governance framework, and version history remain the relevant sources for canonical status.
Announcement Types
Document Publication
Notices accompanying the formal publication of canonical Lattice Core documents, new editions, or other significant documentary milestones.
Governance Notices
Public communications concerning significant Foundation governance and stewardship developments where public notice is appropriate.
Ecosystem Updates
Foundation announcements concerning significant developments affecting the relationship or public operation of the wider Lattice Semantic Nexus ecosystem.
Institutional Updates
Public notices concerning the Foundation itself, its public resources, institutional role, and matters relevant to its stewardship responsibilities.
Announcement Record
No Foundation Announcements Currently Listed
No formal Foundation announcements are currently recorded in this public directory.
Announcements will be added here as applicable public milestones, document publications, governance notices, ecosystem developments, or institutional updates are formally communicated.
Document Publication Announcements
What an Announcement Records
When a canonical document is formally published, an announcement may provide the public context surrounding that publication, identify the document or edition concerned, and direct readers to the applicable canonical record.
This provides a dated communication record while keeping canonical document identity, authority, version, and lifecycle information within the documentation framework.
Publication Must Precede Announcement
A document is not treated as publicly released merely because it is discussed, anticipated, previewed, or referenced in Foundation communication.
A release announcement should follow the formal establishment of the publication state it communicates.
Announcements & the Canonical Record
Announcements Communicate
An announcement can explain what has occurred, why the development matters, and where the relevant canonical or institutional record can be found.
It forms part of the Foundation's public communications rather than the canonical Lattice Core corpus itself.
Canonical Records Establish Documentary Status
The Documentation Framework provides the Foundation's public presentation of the canonical Lattice Core document model, including the role and authority domain of each canonical document.
Publication and version information is recorded through the applicable document record and version-history framework when formally established.
Canonical Documentation Framework
The canonical documentation framework separates substantive authority and explanatory or mapping responsibilities across six document roles.
LCGD
Governance.
Governs the governance framework, authority, change conditions, stewardship, lifecycle, and governance constraints.
LCAD
Architecture.
Establishes Lattice Core architecture and controls architecture-level questions.
LCStD
Standards & Conformance.
Formalises normative standards and conformance requirements derived from LCAD.
LCSpD
Detailed Specification.
Provides detailed technical and functional specification derived from LCAD and LCStD.
LCED
Explanation.
Explains and contextualises canonical material without controlling governance, architecture, standards, or specification.
LCAAD
Architecture Atlas & Corpus Map.
Maps locations, relationships, navigation, and traceability without substantive authority over the material mapped.
Current Publication Programme
Verification Before Release
The canonical Lattice Core corpus is being aligned against the authoritative architecture before public release.
LCAD reconstruction and source verification therefore precede publication of explanatory material intended to describe the architecture.
Architecture First. Explanation Second.
The Foundation will record applicable publication milestones here as the verification, governance, and publication processes for the canonical corpus are completed.
Announcement Integrity
Announcements are dated communications. They provide a public record of Foundation communication at a particular point in time.
Announcements do not create canonical authority. Authority remains with the applicable canonical source.
Announcements do not create publication state. A canonical document must be formally published before an announcement can accurately communicate that publication.
Announcements preserve source boundaries. Governance, architecture, standards, specification, explanation, and mapping remain controlled by their respective canonical documents.
Announcements may become historical records. A dated announcement can remain part of the public communication record even after the document or state it described has later changed.

Announcements
Official Foundation notices concerning significant public developments and milestones.
Articles
Longer-form public writing and commentary maintained separately from the Foundation publication record.
Canonical Documents
The canonical framework for governance, architecture, standards and conformance, detailed specification, explanation, and corpus mapping.
