Publications

Official Foundation publications and public notices

Foundation publications provide the official public record of significant document publication, governance developments, ecosystem milestones, and institutional activity communicated by the LSN Foundation.

Publications are distinct from both the canonical Lattice Core corpus and the Foundation's broader article programme. They communicate developments without replacing the canonical sources responsible for governance, architecture, standards and conformance, detailed specification, explanation, or corpus mapping.

Foundation Publications

Official Public Record

The Publications section records formal Foundation communications concerning significant developments within its governance, stewardship, and institutional scope.

This provides a durable public communication record around the canonical documentation framework without changing the authority, meaning, or publication state of that framework.

Publications Are Not Canonical Documents

Foundation publications may announce or provide context for canonical developments, but they are not themselves part of the canonical Lattice Core corpus.

Where a publication refers to canonical material, the applicable canonical source remains controlling within its subject-matter domain.

Official Foundation Notices

Announcements provide dated Foundation communications concerning document publication, governance milestones, ecosystem developments, public resources, institutional activity, and other significant programme updates.

They form the current public notice stream within the Foundation's publication record.

Communication Does Not Create Canonical Status

Announcing, discussing, previewing, or referring to a canonical document does not itself establish a public canonical edition.

Publication, version, and access information is recorded through the applicable document record and version-history framework when formally established.

Articles

A Separate Public Content Surface

Articles provide longer-form public writing exploring context, motivation, interpretation, and wider implications surrounding Lattice Core, governance, and the Lattice Semantic Nexus.

Articles are maintained as a separate root-level content class rather than as part of the Foundation publication record.

Editorial Context, Not Canonical Authority

Articles may discuss or interpret canonical material, but they do not control governance, architecture, standards, specification, explanation, or canonical mapping.

Governance.

Governs the governance framework, authority, change conditions, stewardship, lifecycle, and governance constraints.

LCAD

Architecture.

Establishes Lattice Core architecture and controls architecture-level questions.

LCStD

Standards & Conformance.

Formalises normative standards and conformance requirements derived from LCAD.

LCSpD

Detailed Specification.

Provides detailed technical and functional specification derived from LCAD and LCStD.

LCED

Explanation.

Explains and contextualises canonical material without controlling governance, architecture, standards, or specification.

LCAAD

Architecture Atlas & Corpus Map.

Maps locations, relationships, navigation, and traceability without substantive authority over the material mapped.

Architecture First

Verification Before Release

The canonical Lattice Core corpus is being aligned against the authoritative architecture before public release.

LCAD reconstruction and architectural verification therefore precede publication of explanatory material intended to describe that architecture.

Architecture First. Explanation Second.

The publication programme follows the architecture rather than asking public explanation to stabilise material that is still being verified.

Canonical documents are published as the applicable verification, governance, and publication processes are completed.
